BASIC VIST US ROTARY TOUR
The tour will be modified to your needs and wants. Here we have you staying in Panajachel while at the lake but you might, for example, want to go across the lake to Santiago Atitlan or the particular projects you are interested in are somewhere else around the lake.
While in Guatemala, many Rotarians take the opportunity to do some sightseeing, others want to focus exclusively on a particular project. It’s up to you, but what we have presented below gives you an idea of what we can do and what it might cost.
Extracurricular (if you will) activities can include anything from climbing a volcano to going on a basic lake tour. For birdwatchers, there is a Quetzal bird reserve near Santiago …but that’s just the start. Please contact us for more information.

Why Guatemala?
Guatemala is a fascinating and diverse country with spectacular Mayan ruins, active volcanoes, Pacific and Atlantic coasts, and Lake Atitlan, which many consider the most beautiful lake in the world. All of this in a country about the size of Tennessee.
